Today in my ICT class we had a Skype link up with a lady named Sam who works for the Australian Marine Conservation Society. The Australian Conservation society is Australia’s only national charity dedicated exclusively to protecting ocean wildlife.

2.List at least three things you learnt in dot or numerated points.

1. That you can see the Great Barrier Reef from outer space.
2. 7 of the worlds 8 species of sea turtles live in The Great Barrier Reef.
3. The coral in the reef is getting bleached which has negative effects on the marine environment.

3.Name the most interesting part of the presentation for you.
The most interesting part of the presentation for me was getting to look at actual pictures from the reef that were all interesting and beautiful.

What can we do at home that can help the marine environment?

5.Would you recommend this session to other students? Why or why not? Give it a rating our of 10. Yes I would reccomend it to other students because it is so interesting.

More pictures and more explanations and definitions of what different terms meant.

7.Is this a more interesting way to learn about the Reef than reading a textbook? Why?
Yes because you actually get to talk to someone who has expirience in what you are learning about.
